Mark Weitzel:  President  

Jonathan Beri:  Jonathan Beri is the Senior Technical Product Manager at Magento. His main responsibility includes the Magento Go Platform (an upcoming OpenSocial container in the eCommerce space.) He is also the Treasurer for the OpenSocial Foundation.

Helen Chen: Secretary @OpenSocial Foundation. And she is a software development manager at Emerging Technologies Group with Cisco Systems, Inc., where she leads OpenSocial enterprise adoption at Cisco Pulse and web application development.  

Chris Cole: Board Member  -  
Chris has been building for the Internet since Mosaic was the best browser and page background colors were considered cutting edge.  Currently he works as Principal Architect for the Myspace Developer Platform where he tirelessly fights to reinforce and extend Myspace's embrace of the open web.

Jonathan LeBlanc: Board Member


Jonathan LeBlanc is a principal software engineer / technology evangelist working with the Yahoo! Developer Network and is the author of the upcoming O'Reilly book "Programming Social Applications"O’Reilly book “Programming Social Applications”.  

Specializing in open source initiatives around the implementation of social engagement services, Jonathan works with and promotes emerging technologies to aid in the adoption and utilization of new social development techniques. As a software engineer, Jonathan works extensively with social interaction development on the web, engaging in new methods for targeting the social footprint of users to drive the ideal of an open web.

Mark Halvorson: Board Member

Mark Halvorson is the Director of Interactive Marketing and OpenSocial Evangelist at Atlassian Software – the makers of JIRA and Confluence. He has a long history working with portals and social enterprise software having worked in various capacities from software developer to technical marketer for Firepond, Plumtree, BEA and Oracle.

Andrew Davis, IBM
Andrew has worked at IBM for eight years in IBM Collaboration Software on Lotus Notes and Expeditor Teams. He is responsible for bringing the web technologies including OpenSocial to desktop and web apps.  He first integrated Gadgets into Lotus Notes in 2008, with like Notes Widgets, LiveText, Catalog and Feeds.  General trouble maker in introducing new web technologies at IBM ICS.

 

Ryan Baxter, IBM
Ryan has worked for IBM for three years.  His primary focus during this time has been working on public APIs for Lotus Notes.  Recently he has become involved with the OpenSocial foundation, and over the past year has been working on several enhancements to the OpenSocial specification while at the same time providing implementations of these enhancements throughout IBM's products. @ryanjbaxter http://ryanjbaxter.com
